What You'll Do

As a Sr. Researcher, you will be responsible for developing new initiation systems and improving existing products. Other duties will include:

  • Support and optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Plan, execute, and report on experimental testing.
  • Assist in resolving customer complaints.
  • Conduct lab testing to ensure product safety and performance.
  • Document and share test results with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support patent filings with accurate technical input.
  • Supervise lab staff to ensure proper training and testing procedures.
  • Analyze competitor products to identify opportunities for innovation.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Materials Engineering.
  • Experience in the explosives, mining, or related industries preferred.
  • 5+ years in product design, materials development, or process chemistry.
  • Hands-on experience with product testing and validation, including destructive testing preferred.
  • Strong project management, data analysis, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency with analytical instruments and lab procedures.
  • Effective team player with strong communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work across functional teams.
