The Neighborhood Health Center (NHC) APP Supervisor functions in both a clinical and administrative capacity, providing direct oversight of APP's within the NHC department, while also providing direct patient care at least 50% of the time. This is an opportunity to function in a collaborative practice with physicians in a Neighborhood Health Center setting with a patient population of >90% government payor or underinsured population. They work alongside a multidisciplinary team to care for a high volume of socially and medically complex patients. The APP Supervisor collaborates with physicians, APPs and department leadership to support all employed NHC APPs through administrative functions such as hiring, training, ongoing professional development, and participation in strategic and clinical initiatives. While providing direct patient care, the APP supervisor works independently to provide patient care according to best practice and approved protocols.
