We are seeking a passionate and results-oriented Senior Solutions Architect - Order Management & Compliance to drive the design and implementation of legal and compliance applications within the front office domain. The ideal candidate will provide thought leadership, develop a target state roadmap, and drive engagement with both business and IT stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker who can influence and engage stakeholders, balance practical solutions with adherence to architectural design principles, and coach others to build a strong architecture talent bench.

Key responsibilities are:

  • Solution Design and Roadmap Development:
    • Develop and maintain target state roadmap and solution blueprint for legal and compliance applications.
    • Formulate architectural point of view to drive decisions and discussions at various architectural review boards and other governance bodies as needed.
    • Ensure solutions are aligned with overall business objectives while balancing the practical and scalable solutions in adherence to architectural design principles.
    • Advance and innovate our technologies and move us towards a nimbler integration across vendor and custom solutions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Business Priorities:
    • Build relationships with business partners to understand business requirements, concerns, and priorities, while assessing the impact/changes to the CG Investment Systems environment, specifically to the front-office applications.
    • Engage closely with IT and architecture partners to increase the adoption of CG enterprise standards, and architecture design principles, drive cloud adoption and increase our ecosystem resilience.
    • Drive engagement and collaboration across teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Thought Leadership and Influence:
    • Provide thought leadership and influence solutions that balance practicality with strategy to meet business priorities.
    • Provide consultation and point of view on legal and compliance application architecture.
    • Be a strong influencer within the organization, promoting best practices and innovative solutions, opportunities for process rationalization and automation
  • Coaching and Talent Development
    • Coach and mentor embedded architects and IT team members to build a strong architecture talent bench.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and development within the team.

  • You have a bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, engineering, or a related field.
  • You have experience with or are aware of technologies such as: AWS or Azure cloud platforms/technologies, data management patterns, data lake technologies and AI/ML
  • You have business acumen in the front-office through the back-office processes and flow.
  • You have 2 years minimum experience working in and asset management firm.
  • You have 2 years minimum experience with Charles River Development.
  • You have 5 years minimum experience performing solution architecture tasks (does not need to have the architecture title): build solution roadmap, manage stakeholders, practice good design principles, led technology direction, replacing technology platforms, provide oversight of vendor solutions selection and integration, practice good architectural design principles
Southern California Base Salary Range: $148,045-$236,872

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
