Pay Range USD $110,000.00 - USD $125,000.00 /Yr. Overview The David D. Reh School of Business at Clarkson University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to begin on or about July 1, 2025. Applicants must have an earned Ph.D. degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, or a closely related field by the appointment date. Applicants must have earned an engineering degree (Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate) to be considered. Candidates with high potential for publishing in top-tier/major journals in supply chain research areas and who can contribute to the school's reputation as nationally-ranked Engineering and Management (E&M) and supply chain management programs will be strongly considered. The courses to be covered include Quality Management and Lean Enterprise, Process Engineering Design, A.K.A., the E&M Capstone Engineering Design, and other supply chain or operations management courses that may be offered at the Reh School. The successful candidate must demonstrate awareness and experience in understanding the needs of a diverse student population through inclusive course materials and teaching strategies. The successful candidate would contribute to the engagement-related aspects of the Reh School's mission, including service on school and university standing committees, service to the Engineering and Management program, as well as service to the profession. Seeking research funding, collaboration with the private sector, and membership in and licensure by professional organizations, e.g., the New York State Professional Engineering License, are highly encouraged.
