Performs diagnostic sleep studies related to the evaluation and treatment of patients with sleep disorders.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Must possess current licensure as required by state board where services will be provided: WV: Licensed Respiratory Therapist Registered (LRTR) through the West Virginia Board of Respiratory Care 2. Certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists within two (2) years of hire. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE: 1. Current certification as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT). Ability to communicate and understand instructions, information and/or concepts in order to report patient information, to explain the procedure and process to the patient, and to compile and complete technical reports.
