Cape Fox subsidiary Wolf Lake Services is seeking a Professional Development Program Specialist to join our team in Washington, DC in support of the US Agency for International Development (USAID). Background and Objectives: The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) is the lead U.S. government agency responsible for providing economic development and humanitarian assistance abroad in support of U.S. foreign policy goals. Under this task order, the contractor will provide technical and professional services in the execution of their broad and diverse mission to facilitate inter-governmental operational requirements here at USAID. The Mission of USAID is to accelerate human progress in developing countries by reducing poverty, advancing democracy, building market economies, promoting security, responding to crises, and improving quality of life. Working with governments, institutions, and civil society, USAID assists individuals to build their own futures by mobilizing the full range of American's public and private resources through our expert presence overseas. Scope of Work: The purpose of this order is to provide the necessary level of professional and technical support required to facilitate the overall operational objectives of USAID and Human Capital and Talent Management (HCTM) Center for Professional Development (CPD) programs and functions. The Contractor will provide training consultation, development, facilitation and administration support on a full-time basis in support of HCTM/CPD's mission and its Global Workforce Learning Strategy (GWLS) objective to strengthen the capacity of the Agency's global workforce by ensuring they are well-equipped with the knowledge, skills, abilities and resources to administer programs around the world. The Contractor shall provide these services, materials and related equipment to perform the work delineated herein. The Contractor may incur some periodic travel requirements to support the delivery of the related functions. Responsibilities: Program Specialist (Design/Develop Professional Development Workshops & Programs) 50% This person reports to the CPD Program Manager and provides technical support to senior Human Resources and organization managers on the full range of issues pertaining to Training, Education, Employee Development and/or Career Development and other HR duties as assigned. As a subject matter expert, responsibilities include overall program management for the design/development of professional development workshops and trainings, to include curriculum development, program implementation, evaluation and validation. Rapidly incorporates necessary changes in workshop curriculum to ensure curriculum remains current and relevant for USAID staff. Essential functions of the job:
