The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan is recruiting a full-time pathologist. Pathologists with expertise in other pathology subspecialties are welcome to apply. Board certification or eligibility from the American Board of Pathology inAP/CP or APis required. This position is located at the Trenton Campus.

Annually, Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan Pathology and Laboratory Medicine performs approximately 150,000 surgical pathology accessions, 100,000 Pap tests and 22,000 non-gynecologic/FNA accessions. Corewell Health in Southeast Michigan is aligned with Oakland University William Beaumont School of Medicine. There is a pathology residency, as well as fellowships in cytopathology, hematopathology, clinical chemistry and blood banking. Academic appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.

Corewell Health Trenton Hospital is a 193-bed acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university-affiliated residency programs. The hospital opened its doors to Trenton and its surrounding communities in 1961. It became part of Beaumont Health in September 2014.In addition to providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for its patients, the hospital offers all private beds, a medical and surgical intensive care unit, obstetrical care and otherspecialty servicesto assist our community.
