Senior Accountant

ROLE SUMMARY:

The Sr. Accountant role is responsible for preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, managing fixed assets and assisting with audit preparations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Preparing the monthly consolidation package including the maintenance of a consolidated corporate chart of accounts; ensuring compliance with GAAP.
• Coordinating with subsidiaries for timely financial reporting.
• Managing all intercompany transactions.
• Preparing fluctuation analysis that compares actual to budget, actual to prior quarter and actual to prior year quarter.
• Maintaining and reconciling fixed assets schedules, depreciation and managing overall fixed asset policy and procedure.
• Reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances.
• Assisting with implementing and maintaining internal financial controls and procedures.
• Build relationships and collaborate with business partners and other finance functions in support of deadlines, deliverables, and overall requirements of the business.
• Assisting in the improvement and efficiency of processes while achieving desired results.
• Performing other duties as required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of experience in accounting or finance OR a Master's degree plus 3 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance, with integrity in the application of standards.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Strong Excel skills required (e.g. Pivot Table & VLOOKUP experience) and ability to work with large volumes of transactional data
