Adjunct faculty members serve the college and students by providing high quality instruction and engaging in instruction related activities. Adjunct faculty are expected to excel in classroom instruction and to fulfill various responsibilities related to their assigned teaching duties. Adjunct faculty members excel as teachers by:
Adjunct faculty members are responsible for meeting certain expectations as responsible and professional representatives of
MCC, including, but not limited to:
Minimal Qualifications For Paramedic instructors:
Associates degree or a minimum of 60 credit hours; AND Current Missouri licensure, National Registry, or other state license or certification as a paramedic AND at least two (2) years of clinical experience as an EMT-P, EMT-B, OR licensure as a registered nurse or physician with at least two (2) years of clinical experience; AND Other experience and training as required by the State of Missouri, 19 CSR 30-40.331, (8), 1. pg. 25.https://www.sos.mo.gov/ CMSImages/AdRules/csr/ Current/19csr/19c30- 40.pdf For EMS 110: Paramedic qualifications described above; AND Valid Peace Officer Standards and Training( POST) certification. For EMT instructors (EMS 100, EMS 150, EMS 168): Current Missouri licensure, National Registry, or other state license or certification as a paramedic and at least two (2) years clinical .
