Description: Position Summary This position contributes to the design and delivery of research projects and collaborates with researchers to develop, execute, and interpret research projects. Performs complex computational and data collection tasks required in one projects. Duties & Responsibilities Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications Best Candidate: Will assist in machine learning methods and simulation tool development for high performance computing environment. The candidate is expected to manage data and computational codes from multiple sources with the aim to managing standard and helping student on trouble shooting as needed. The ideal candidate will be contributing to writing scientific manuscripts, report results in meetings, and maintain continuity by communicating with collaborators. Research: Use multiscale simulation tools under development and testing on various hardware platforms. Work on scaling the codes in national supercomputing facilities and assist student in writing for obtaining access to supercomputing facilities. Performance complex multidimensional data sets and demonstrate working codes performing real time machine learning on experimental and simulated data sets. Analyze simulation data sets and perform analysis to reduce system size and prepare results for machine learning pipeline of activities. Communication: Participate in data analysis and preparation of figures for publication. Present results in different meetings and represent M3L activities in scientific and engineering forums.
