Position: Part-Time Administrative Support
Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week, 48 weeks per year
Location: Main Campus, Newtown

We are looking for an Administrative Support team member to join our Academic Success Center. This role is crucial in providing support and information to students, as well as supporting the operations of the Academic Success Center to efficiently meet student needs and expectations. This position works closely with the Writing Specialist and the Director of the Academic Success Center to ensure our students' needs are met effectively."

Primary Functions:

  • Provide information and assistance to students by greeting students, answering phone inquiries, responding to e-mail inquiries, and directing students to resources. Schedule appointments, check availability, and ensure that students are signing-in and out on the TracCloud system for efficient tracking and reporting purposes.

  • Enter data into TracCloud, such as appointments, schedules, and visit entries. Print, copy, verify, and distribute reports to the Academic Departments.

  • Assist with other administrative duties, such as updating Center literature and submitting material for photocopying, assisting the Director, Assistant Directors, and Specialists with preparation for student workshops and tutor trainings, assisting the Director with payroll, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Hourly Rate: $18.2639 - 19.5424 (commensurate with experience)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma and 1-3 years related work experience or Associate's Degree and less than one year related work experience.

  • Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work in a busy environment.

  • Ability to communicate with a diverse student population.

  • Technological proficiency.

Preferred Qualification:

  • Ability to work evening hours if needed.
