As the Director of Upward Bound Lake County Programs, you'll be at the forefront of transforming lives. Reporting to the Executive Director of Pre-Collegiate Programs, you'll provide visionary leadership and strategic direction to ensure our programs not only meet but exceed their goals. You'll oversee everything from academic operations to budgeting, ensuring every aspect of the program runs like a well-oiled machine. Plus, you'll lead a dedicated team, guiding them to inspire and uplift the next generation of college-bound students.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Starting salary placement depends on qualifications and experience and is anticipated to be in the range of $6,500 to $7,062 a month. This is a full-time, fixed-term, exempt position. Renewal of this position is contingent upon the individual's performance, successful maintenance of grant funding budget, and administrative considerations. This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave. In addition, 14 paid holidays are offered each year; 13 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year (comprehensive benefits summary PDF).
