Medical Assistant/Certified Medical Assistant

This position is within the Employee Health Services Department. Bilingual Spanish is required.

• Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM

• Charting: Varies by location
• RTO, Block & Scheduling Requests: All requests must be included at the time of submission
• Call Off Policy: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Accept First-Time Travelers: Yes

• Required Certifications: Must be included with submission: BLS; CMA (Certified Medical Assistant)

• Office Duties: Assist with front desk patient calls; Pharmacy calls and patient refill requests; Schedule appointments
• Patient Intake & Assessment: Room patients; Obtain vital signs; Record patient history, medications, and allergies; Prepare patients for examination
• Preferred: Bilingual Spanish or Korean a plus; Adult Outpatient Clinic; Chart Preparation; Ordering supplies; Telephone Triage
