Job Description

The University of Missouri is embarking on a multi-year transformation to implement a new cloud-based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, replacing its current PeopleSoft HCM and Finance platforms. We are seeking a results-oriented Recruit Module HealthCare ERP Lead to provide functional leadership for the planning, implementation, configuration, testing, and ongoing optimization of our new enterprise resource planning (ERP) solutions within the area of recruiting within the University Healthcare System.
The module lead will serve as the primary subject matter expert for module-related business processes and system functionality, collaborating with stakeholders, project teams, vendors, and implementation partners to support organizational objectives, business process improvements, and successful ERP adoption. The incumbent will apply knowledge of business operations and ERP capabilities to recommend solutions, support decision-making, and ensure the effective implementation and utilization of enterprise technology solutions.

Responsibilities will include:
- Own the future-state recruitment processes for MU Health Care, from requisition and posting through selection, offer, and preboarding handoff, including process steps, the configuration each step requires, and the order it is built.
- Assess the current recruitment estate, including the applicant tracking system, Phenom CRM, the VMS for agency and locums staff, career sites, and the spreadsheet and email workarounds behind them, and recommend what is replaced, integrated, or retired.
- Translate stakeholder needs into traceable business and technical requirements, and evaluate each against the selected vendor's delivered functionality.
- Own the scope of the licensed Recruiting modules, map them to the processes they support, and identify unlicensed modules such as conversational hiring, interview scheduling, or contingent labor management that would block a process.
- Design requisitions, job postings, candidate stages, offer approvals, notifications, and security roles, and write specifications the systems integrator can build from without reinterpretation.
- Ensure recruitment processes meet healthcare regulatory and institutional requirements, including licensure and certification primary source verification, OIG and SAM exclusion screening, drug and occupational health screening, immunization requirements, I-9 and E-Verify, OFCCP and EEO reporting, ADA and Section 508 accessibility, and records retention.
- Design for healthcare hiring patterns, including high-volume hourly and clinical hiring, nurse residency and new-graduate cohorts, sign-on and retention incentives, internal transfers and float pool moves, rehire eligibility, union-represented positions, and agency and locums conversion.
- Define and manage boundaries with adjacent workstreams, including position management and job architecture, offer ranges with Compensation, preboarding and onboarding with Core HCM, and medical staff credentialing for physicians and APPs.
- Bring open design decisions forward with options and a recommendation, and raise risks, issues, and dependencies as they surface.
- Plan the cutover of recruitment data, including open requisitions, candidates in process on go-live day, historical applicant records under retention rules, and legacy-to-target data mapping.
- Lead end-to-end testing of recruitment processes, configuration, integrations, security, and compliance controls, and confirm defects are resolved before go-live.
- Deliver reports, job aids, training, and post-go-live support, and drive ongoing process improvement after launch.
