What We Are Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience in commercial construction
  • Demonstrated experience leading field crews, coordinating activities, and driving project execution
  • Proven ability to plan and organize work, anticipate challenges, and maintain project schedules
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, tools, equipment, materials, and jobsite safety practices
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, decision making, and conflict resolution skills

The Project:

The project contains three levels of parking with units on top of the parking podium. The property will feature a rooftop pool, fitness center, and recreation rooms as amenities. We broke ground earlier this year with a completion date of summer 2028.

What You'll Do

As an Assistant Superintendent with Findorff, you'll help lead field operations by coordinating people, materials, equipment, and subcontractors to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and on schedule. You'll work closely with foremen, project teams, and other trade partners to support project goals. As a hands-on leader, you'll play an important role in developing field talent, solving problems, and building a collaborative jobsite culture where people can do their best work.

  • Lead Field Operations: Coordinate daily construction activities, material deliveries, equipment, and subcontractor functions to support project schedules, budgets, and production goals. Monitor progress, maintain quality standards, and address challenges before they become larger issues.
  • Plan and Coordinate Work: Plan ahead to keep crews productive and work progressing as scheduled. Develop short-interval plans, coordinate with other trades, anticipate resource needs, and ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available when needed.
  • Champion Safety & Quality: Lead by example in maintaining a safe jobsite and enforcing Findorff safety policies. Support daily huddles, safety meetings, and pre-task planning while ensuring work meets established quality standards and project requirements.
  • Drive Results: Identify potential roadblocks, evaluate solutions, and make timely decisions that support safety, quality, schedule, and profitability. Manage changing project conditions professionally, hold teams accountable to expectations, and take ownership of project outcomes.
  • Communicate and Build Relationships: Maintain clear, consistent communication with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, union officials, customers, and other industry partners. Lead jobsite meetings, address concerns, and work collaboratively to resolve conflicts and keep teams aligned.
