Position Full-time opening for a painter in its truck equipment up-fitting operation. Responsible of all painting, paint prep and performing installer functions when paint work is slow. Responsibilities Utilizes air sanders, spray guns, sanding blocks, etc. in order to complete quality work. Selects and prepares color tint to match paint color, mix paint colors and follow all paint manufacturing guidelines. Responsible for all maintenance on paint equipment. Reads and understands work orders to make sure body and chassis are coated to end user specifications. Responsible for paint prep. Application of undercoat to body and/or chassis per customer specification. Cross training as an installer for flexibility when paint work is slow. Qualifications GED/High School Diploma or Experience. 1-3 years' experience painting in a production environment Uses required respirators, HVLP gun and paint pot. Ability to read, write, comprehend and have basic math knowledge. Ability to work in tight spaces where needed to ensure proper paint coverage on chassis after equipment is installed. Truck Equipment installs. Ability to use power tools and machinery. Auto Mechanical Experience (Preferred).
