Country United States of America State / County Ohio City Eastlake Division Airfoils Company Mold Masters Function Operations Workplace Type On-Site Position type Full Time Opportunity ID 24502 Job Description Engineering Technician - Weekend Shift Schedule: Friday-Sunday, 3:00 AM-3:00 PM Training: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:00 PM Position Summary The Engineering Technician is a key member of the Process Engineering team, supporting product quality, process improvements, and manufacturing operations. This role is responsible for evaluating non-conforming materials, assisting with root cause investigations, coordinating product dispositions, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the facility. Key Responsibilities Evaluate non-conforming parts and support root cause analysis activities. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and process documentation. Coordinate scrap and material dispositions with Engineering and Quality teams. Document technical dispositions and rework instructions. Analyze quality and manufacturing data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Maintain quality metrics, reports, charts, and performance tracking tools. Support process improvement projects to enhance quality, efficiency, and productivity. Conduct internal and supplier quality system audits. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to resolve product and process issues. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. High attention to detail and commitment to quality. Manufacturing, engineering, or quality experience preferred. Familiarity with FANUC robotics, or willingness to learn. Injection molding experience is a plus.
