General Purpose The Communications Coordinator deploys a full range of writing and editing skills to protect Alpine Bank's public image and burnish its brand, ensuring that written communications, are grammatically and factually correct, while also adhering to bank branding standards in print, radio, email, online, TV/video and all marketing avenues. - Prepares and/or reviews written communications such as ads, websites, social media copy, emails, brochures, booklets, newsletters, posters, news releases, surveys, proposals, bank forms, and correspondence for marketing functions of sales, advertising, business development, and public relations.
- Serves as the primary steward of Alpine Bank's brand voice and tone, ensuring clarity, consistency, and authenticity across all enterprise-wide communications.
- Performs advanced copy editing, including grammar and factual checks, but also evaluating nuance, word choice, risk, accessibility and audience impact.
- Creates copy for internal collateral used in marketing, advertising, sales, and enterprise communications, including toolboxes, guides, templates, etc.
- Advises leadership on message strategy and tone during high-visibility, sensitive or time-critical moments. (For example: public statements, crisis or incident response communications.)
- Conducts research to inform content accuracy, messaging strategy and campaign development.
- Collaborates closely with the graphic designer and the compliance team to ensure messaging has met the bank's brand standards and regulations.
- Assists the Incident Response Team.
- Responsible for enforcing brand guidelines and standards across departments and business lines to ensure consistency in communications and improve customer experience.
- Ensures promotional campaigns are aligned with public relations messaging and activities.
- Collaborates with the Marketing team, departments and regions in developing strategies, campaigns and promotions.
- Promotes Alpine Bank's culture, values and services to customers, the public, business community, stockholders, and employees.
- Regular and reliable on-site attendance is an essential function of this position.

Education or Formal Training:
- A Bachelor's Degree (B. A.) from four-year college in Marketing, Communications, Business or similar.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a valid State of Colorado Driver's License is required.
Experience:
- A minimum of three (3) years related experience, preferably in a banking or financial environment.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have experience with Microsoft Word & Excel, Adobe Acrobat, Associated Press Style Guide, Internet software and Contact Management systems.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-to-year basis.
Working Conditions Working Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. After successful training, the role allows for a hybrid schedule to include remote work and in-office. In-office attendance requires a minimum of three (3) days per week. This arrangement can be modified at any time, at management discretion. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and multifunction printers. Occasional travel may be required. Physical Activities: These are representative of those which must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This is largely a sedentary role. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Employee also may have to lift up to 25 pounds.
