Co-Op Welder

CB Mining is an independent family-owned corporation that is growing. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Washington, PA, CB Mining focuses on product support for Longwall mines. Established from part of the Caterpillar mining group, CB Mining has grown from 2 locations in Washington, PA to now 4 locations, with additions in Marion, IL and Tuscaloosa, AL, We provide customers with rebuild services, CST gearbox rebuilds, welding and fabrications services, service exchange units, custom made cabling solutions, life cycle services including oil sampling and vibration analysis, robust inventory support, compatibility services and underground technical support. We also provide extensive machining, chroming, laser cladding, and hydraulic repairs through our valued partner Cleveland Brothers. Position Summary:

The successful candidate must be able to confidently and safely weld and perform other duties as assigned.

The preferred candidate will have the following skills, or must be willing to take necessary course work and become proficient in the following skills:

• Welding, air arcing, cutting torch and plasma cutting.
• Fabrication
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and drawings.
• Operate an overhead crane, rigging, and a willingness to learn product repair procedures.

Requirements:

• Adhere to the Company's Code of Conduct/Ethics
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Be a recent graduate or enrolled at a certified welding school.
