DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position supports accreditation activities by reviewing documentation, coordinating projects, and training staff on required processes. The work ensures that the agency meets accreditation standards and maintains accurate, updated records. As an Administrative Assistant 1, you will perform the following duties:

  • File Management: Review, update, and organize accreditation compliance files and documentation
  • Program Updates: Input information into accreditation management systems and maintain accurate data records
  • Staff Training: Provide guidance to clerical personnel and assist with presentations for various agency groups
  • Project Coordination: Communicate with agency staff and partners to prepare and submit accreditation-related reports
  • Documentation Review: Maintain updated handouts, regulations, and forms for accreditation needs
  • Assessment Support: Participate in meetings and assessments related to accreditation activities

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
  • Salary: Selected candidates who are new to employment with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $46,827.00 (before taxes).

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • Such training as may have been gained through graduation from a four year college or university; or
  • Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:
  • You must have two years of experience developing, reviewing, and analyzing documentation for reports.
  • You must have two years of experience interpreting directives, regulations, or state statutes.
  • You must have two years of experience in customer service.
  • You must have two years of experience with data entry.
  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirement:
  • You must pass a background investigation and meet Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) compliance requirements.
