HR Benefits Systems Analyst Greensboro, NC Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour 26-09475 Job summary The Senior HR Benefits Systems Analyst serves as the subject matter expert for Benefits systems, ensuring data integrity, effective system support, and alignment with business needs. This role provides technical and functional support to HR Services, Benefits, Payroll, IT, vendors, and US-based users while identifying opportunities to simplify processes, automate work, and improve system effectiveness. Responsibilities Benefits Systems & Data Management (30%)
- Serve as the subject matter expert for Benefits systems, ensuring system functionality, data integrity, and alignment with business needs.
- Coordinate and support system-related activities across the HR and Benefits community.
- Maintain accurate Benefits data, system configurations, integrations, and vendor interfaces.
- Manage vendor file feeds, review discrepancy reports, and coordinate timely corrections.
- Provide system reporting and data to support Benefits and HR business needs.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, IT, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve data and system issues.
System Support & Problem Resolution (25%)
- Resolve system issues, identify root causes, and determine appropriate actions and communications.
- Serve as the link between business users, IT Services, HR Services, and vendors to facilitate effective issue resolution.
- Assess technical and business impacts of system issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership through resolution.
- Provide timely and effective support to HR Services, Benefits, Payroll, and other system users.
Projects, Testing & Implementation (20%)
- Actively participate in Benefits, HR, Payroll, and system-related projects and initiatives.
- Support system enhancements and implementations from requirements through testing and deployment.
- Develop and execute user acceptance testing to validate system functionality and data integrity.
- Coordinate with IT, vendors, and business stakeholders to identify and resolve implementation issues.
- Support change activities and ensure systems are ready for business use.
Continuous Improvement & Optimization (15%)
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and improve Benefits processes and system functionality.
- Evaluate potential improvements for technical feasibility, business suitability, and user impact.
- Develop proposals and recommendations for process, system, and delivery improvements.
- Identify opportunities to eliminate waste, improve efficiency, and enhance the user experience.
- Support ongoing optimization of Benefits systems, processes, and data management practices.
Reporting, Documentation & User Support (10%)
- Develop and maintain system and process documentation for supported areas.
- Provide agreed-upon ad hoc and recurring Benefits system reporting.
- Develop and deliver training and guidance to system users.
- Communicate system changes, processes, and requirements clearly to the user community.
- Promote effective system utilization, knowledge sharing, and consistent processes.

Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
- 5+ years of relevant experience supporting HR, Compensation, Benefits administration systems, Payroll, or related systems
