Job summary

The Warehouse Associate I is responsible for picking, packing, and shipping products scheduled for shipment. This role involves verifying orders, loading and unloading trucks, processing stock, and maintaining inventory accuracy within a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities



  • Pick, pack, and ship products
  • Verify product numbers and quantities for order accuracy
  • Load and unload trucks and containers
  • Receive and process stock and materials
  • Stock the warehouse and rotate/replenish inventory
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Identify missing, lost, or damaged materials
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications



  • Must be able to work flexible hours and overtime
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to push and pull up to 35 lbs
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work in various capacities/functions
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must pass a background check and drug screen
  • Must live within 35 miles of Woodridge, IL
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Experience with handheld/RF scanners preferred
  • Experience operating forklifts, material handling equipment, or powered industrial trucks preferred
  • Related warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred

Flexible hours with overtime availability

Additional Details



  • Safety shoes are required at orientation
  • Ability to understand English is required due to training materials and safety concerns
  • Minimum age of 18 years old
  • Experience operating or willingness to learn to operate powered industrial trucks (PIT)
