Our experienced providers and specialists take a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to Obstetrics, Gynecology, Urogynecology, Infertility, and LGBTQ+ care. This role is primarily based in Dover, NH, with the opportunity to support Women's Health locations across the Wentworth Health Partners system, including Garrison Women's Health, Wentworth Health Partners OB/GYN & Infertility, Wentworth Health Partners Dover Women's Health, and the Center for Women's Health and Wellness in Portsmouth. Why This Role Stands Out As a Lead Medical Assistant, you will be both a hands-on clinical team member and a trusted resource for Medical Assistant colleagues. You will help keep daily clinical operations running smoothly, support patient flow, mentor and train staff, and partner closely with the Practice Manager, Medical Director, physicians, nurses, and administrative colleagues. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Medical Assistant who enjoys leadership, teamwork, clinical variety, and making a meaningful impact in a Women's Health setting. What You'll Do *Provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, training, and support to the Medical Assistant team. *Serve as a role model and clinical resource for site staff, helping foster a positive, collaborative, and patient-focused environment. *Support patient care by rooming patients, obtaining medical histories and vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and assisting with clinical visits and office-based procedures. *Coordinate patient flow to promote timely, efficient, and compassionate care throughout the practice. *Assign tasks and help balance workloads to ensure strong coverage and effective use of resources. *Participate in onboarding, precepting, and training for new hires, students, and clinical support staff. *Assist with competency assessments, quality control programs, and clinical initiatives that support safe, consistent care delivery. *Partner with practice leadership and providers to address clinical questions, workflow needs, and opportunities for improved efficiency.
