As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Engagement in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide welcoming customer service. You will communicate clearly with customers and store personnel while supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to store employees, customers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and potential hazards, helping to deter theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access through visible presence and timely reporting.
• Complete required activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
