Job Description

The Senior Director, Entertainment & Lifestyle Partnerships is a senior leader within LAC Marketing, responsible for leading Visa's entertainment, gaming, lifestyle, travel, and cultural partnership strategy across the Latin America and Caribbean region. This role oversees existing partnerships and identifies new platforms that drive client engagement, business growth, consumer relevance, and Marketing Services revenue.

This role reports to the SVP, LAC Marketing and works in close coordination with the Sports & Hospitality partnerships team, Consumer Marketing, Brand, Media, Content, Client Marketing, and Marketing Services to ensure partnership platforms deliver integrated value across clients, consumers, and the broader Visa ecosystem.

This leader will develop scalable regional platforms that strengthen Visa's connection with consumers, clients, and key growth segments-particularly Next Gen and Affluent audiences-through culturally relevant experiences in music, entertainment, gaming, fashion, travel, and lifestyle.

Responsibilities:

Entertainment & Lifestyle Partnership Strategy

  • Lead Visa's entertainment, gaming, lifestyle, travel, and cultural partnership strategy across LAC, identifying and developing new platforms that drive client engagement, business growth, and consumer relevance.
  • Build and scale a diversified portfolio of passion-based platforms that connect Visa with Next Gen and Affluent audiences through culturally relevant experiences.
  • Develop decision frameworks for partnership evaluation, acquisition, and renewal that ensure strategic alignment, commercial rigor, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Identify emerging trends and cultural movements across entertainment, music, gaming, fashion, and travel to keep Visa culturally relevant and ahead of competitors.

Music & Cultural Partnerships

  • Oversee Visa's music partnership strategy across LAC, building and expanding presence across music festivals, artists, streaming platforms, and cultural moments.
  • Develop scalable music platforms that can be activated across markets, clients, and consumer segments to drive engagement, preference, and Marketing Services revenue.
  • Identify and secure strategic music partnerships that differentiate Visa and create experiences competitors cannot easily replicate.

Gaming & Entertainment Partnerships

  • Oversee Visa's gaming and entertainment partnership portfolio, including existing Disney partnerships and new opportunities across gaming platforms, esports, streaming, and digital entertainment.
  • Develop partnership strategies that drive relevance with Next Gen consumers while creating scalable activation opportunities for clients.
  • Lead the evolution of gaming and entertainment partnerships from traditional sponsorships to integrated, experience-driven platforms.

Marketing Services Revenue & Client Value

  • Drive Marketing Services revenue growth through partnership platforms, developing commercially viable activation packages, hospitality experiences, and client engagement opportunities.
  • Partner with Client Marketing and Sales to translate entertainment and lifestyle partnerships into client-ready solutions that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Develop scalable commercial models that enable clients to activate against Visa's entertainment and lifestyle platforms with clear ROI measurement.
  • Support Visa's Marketing Services goals by building the next generation of growth platforms that unlock new revenue streams.

Consumer Engagement & Brand Differentiation

  • Create differentiated consumer experiences through entertainment and lifestyle partnerships that build brand preference, drive relevance, and deepen engagement among priority segments.
  • Develop benefits and experiences for Affluent and Next Gen audiences that leverage Visa's entertainment portfolio to create competitive differentiation.
  • Ensure partnership activations are integrated with broader marketing strategies across media, content, digital, and consumer engagement.

Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Build and lead a high-performing team focused on entertainment, gaming, music, and lifestyle partnerships across LAC.
  • Manage relationships with external partners, rights holders, agencies, and platforms to ensure partnership value is maximized.
  • Partner closely with Global Sponsorship & Experiential Marketing to align regional strategies with global partnership frameworks.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, commercial rigor, and strategic thinking within the partnerships organization.

Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 10 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD), or a minimum of 5 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 15 or more years of experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 12 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, or MD), PhD with 9+ years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience, or Advanced degree with 10+ years, or PhD with 8+ years.
  • Bachelor's degree with 15+ years, or Advanced degree with 12+ years, or PhD with 9+ years.
  • Proven track record developing and executing partnership strategies across entertainment, music, gaming, lifestyle, or cultural platforms that deliver measurable business impact.
  • Deep understanding of entertainment, gaming, music, and cultural trends across Latin America and the Caribbean.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience driving revenue through partnerships, sponsorship activations, and client solutions.
  • Experience negotiating and managing complex partnerships with rights holders, platforms, and external partners.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across complex, highly matrixed organizations.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in ROI modeling, performance measurement, and translating data into actionable strategy.
  • Experience managing budgets and investment allocation to optimize return across a partnership portfolio.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a regional environment.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish required; Portuguese preferred.

For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $179.300,00 to $ 313.700,00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
