We are seeking an experienced professional to step into a strategic and hands-on Human Resources role. This is an exciting opportunity to partner closely with senior leadership, managers, and employees, providing expert HR guidance that directly impacts our talent strategies, enhances employee engagement, and strengthens our organizational effectiveness. You will be instrumental in cultivating a positive and productive workplace culture, driving initiatives that support our people and business objectives. Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership and site leaders to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Provide coaching, guidance, and HR consultation to leaders and employees on employee relations, performance management, career development, HR policies, and workplace issues.
- Manage and resolve employee relations matters, including investigations, conflict resolution, performance issues, and disciplinary processes.
- Ensure consistent application of HR policies, procedures, and employment practices in compliance with company standards and applicable laws.
- Lead key HR programs including talent acquisition, onboarding, leadership development, employee development, talent reviews, succession planning, and retention.
- Support performance management processes and coach leaders on effective employee feedback, development, and corrective action.
- Drive employee engagement, culture, and organizational transformation initiatives across multiple locations.
- Support organizational change initiatives through effective communication, coaching, and change management.
- Partner with leadership on workforce planning, staffing strategies, and development of a strong leadership bench.
- Support compensation, benefits, annual enrollment, and employee/leader training programs.
- Serve as a trusted HR advisor and employee advocate while balancing business needs and organizational policies.
- Analyze HR data and trends to identify opportunities, develop fact-based recommendations, and drive continuous improvement.
- Participate as an active member of the leadership teams at various sites.
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal and state employment regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and HIPAA.
- Provide on-call support for critical employee or operational issues, including periodic weekend coverage as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
- 4+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner capacity.
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment regulations, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and HIPAA.
- Experience with employee relations, investigations, performance management, talent development, staffing, and organizational change.
- Prior experience supporting benefits administration and annual enrollment processes.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, coaching, and influencing skills.
- Ability to build trust and credibility with employees and leaders at all levels of an organization.
- Comfortable delivering difficult messages, navigating ambiguity, and making sound, fact-based decisions.
- Strong customer-service mindset with a genuine passion for employee advocacy and engagement.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement, capability building, and organizational effectiveness.
- Ability to travel 25-50% between assigned locations.
- Valid driver's license required and must be maintained throughout employment.
- Ability to provide occasional after-hours, on-call, and weekend support for critical operational needs.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment and supporting multiple locations.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, consumer products, or a similar operational environment.
- PHR or SPHR certification.
- Experience with SAP or other HR/business management systems.
