Cafeteria Aide (Part-time)

Job Description:

Primary responsibilites of the Cafeteria Aide are monitoring students' conduct in the cafeteria, and helping to prepare the cafeteria for students, for all Lunch Periods/students. This position is a (.625) Part-time position working 5 hours of the school day.

Qualifications:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certificates & Licenses: None required.
• Experience: No job related experience required.

Essential Functions:

• Teaches students proper use of utensils when needed.
• Helps students develop and observe proper dining habits.
• Monitors students to maintain safety and prevent infractions of disciplinary rules.
• Organizes students to ensure orderly purchase of food and movement to assigned tables.
• Performs other related duties, as assigned, to ensure the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Compensation: Hourly wage $18.08 to $19.18 an hour (Additional factors in calculation, including hours, # of days, etc.)

Clearances:

• Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance.
• Tuberculosis Skin Test.
• Public Health Compliance - Must follow safety and health protocols.
