As a Security Officer Driver Entry Verification in Lakeland, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Allied Universal officer at a government location, you will manage access control, monitor entry activity, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming environment. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate clearly with visitors and staff, and help deter incidents through attentive observation and reporting. This driving position calls for teamwork, integrity, reliability, and a caring, people-first approach to security-related responsibilities.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and public officials by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, issue visitor passes as directed, and maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, entrances, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, access-control activities, and policy violations in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
