Our Commercial Litigation Practice specializes in representing clients in high-stakes business disputes across a wide range of industries. We provide expert legal services in areas such as contract disputes, class actions, business torts, shareholder and partnership disputes, antitrust litigation and intellectual property litigation. Our team handles all phases of litigation, from pre-litigation counseling and strategic planning to trial and appellate proceedings. By leveraging our deep legal expertise, global reach and strategic insights, we help clients navigate complex legal challenges, protect their business interests, and achieve favorable outcomes through both court proceedings and alternative dispute resolution methods.

Roles at this level will be developing foundational legal skills and supporting senior lawyers with relatively straightforward legal tasks. International Lawyers perform same or similar tasks to other Junior Associates, however they are not qualified in the jurisdiction they work in and may need to have their work signed off by a solicitor qualified in the jurisdiction of operation.

The roles and responsibilities of this job include:

  • Conducts research on legal issues, applicable law, and statutes to support case preparation and strategy

  • Drafts basic legal documents, including pleadings, motions and discovery requests under the guidance of more senior lawyers

  • Organizes and maintains case files, ensuring all documents are up-to-date and readily accessible

  • Assists with the discovery process by reviewing documents, managing evidence and preparing discovery materials

  • Attends hearings and depositions to observe and assist senior lawyers, taking detailed notes during proceedings

  • Handles basic day-to-day communication with clients to gather information and respond to inquiries

  • Handles administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings and filing documents
