Atrius Health, part of the Optum family, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a dedicated 8-provider Internal Medicine practice in Taunton, MA. This role offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive primary care in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with the flexibility to manage your own panel or work as a dedicated team member.

Position HighlightsThe Primary Care Provider - Advanced Practice Clinician (APC) functions as an independent primary care provider responsible for the comprehensive, longitudinal clinical and administrative coordination of care for an assigned panel of patients. This role is intended for experienced APCs who have demonstrated readiness to independently manage a full primary care panel within a coordinated, value based care environment. Providers practice in a collaborative team model and assume accountability for clinical decision making, care coordination, and outcomes over time.

Required Qualifications
  • Graduate of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner Program (Masters level preferred)
  • Licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing
  • National Board Certification
  • Current active Massachusetts DPH Controlled Substances Registration or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations
  • Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or ability to obtain post-hire, per state regulations
  • Maintains BLS certification, professional certification as appropriate
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience independently managing a full primary care patient panel

Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $165,000 - $190,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
