The Manager of Business Development is responsible for leading the development and execution of strategic initiatives that identify and secure funding opportunities to support the institution's research agenda. This role involves building and nurturing relationships with external stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and philanthropic organizations, to foster collaboration and enhance research capabilities. By analyzing market trends and overseeing proposal development, the Manager of Business Development ensures alignment with institutional priorities and drives successful funding outcomes. Sets performance goals, participates in evaluations, provides feedback, and informs compensation decisions.
