Security Officer - Weekdays Full Time

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Seymour, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic automotive location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. In this unarmed role, you will conduct routine patrols, deliver strong customer service and communication, and bring our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to each shift.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating relevant details to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access as directed by site policies, and report concerns involving visitors, deliveries, and/or restricted areas.
• Support order at an automotive location by observing facility activity, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following post orders related to shifts, traffic flow, and after-hours coverage.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
