As a Security Officer - Overnight Campus Patrol in North Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic higher education location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, communicate concerns, and provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors. You will contribute through teamwork, integrity, reliability, innovation, and a caring, people-first approach.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, campus-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, contacting campus personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of academic buildings, parking areas, walkways, and campus perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity, policy violations, hazards, and unusual conditions according to site procedures.
• Document patrol activity and incidents through clear, accurate reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal and designated campus personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
