Compensation:

* Base Pay Range:

o $60,000.00 annual first year

o $65,000.00 annual second year

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION

* Complete immersive departmental rotations to gain broad exposure and knowledge of hospital and ambulatory operations while building a network of contacts.

* Lead projects and teams to solve business problems and drive innovative solutions through the utilization of project management and change management processes and tools.

* Gain practical experience in a variety of administrative activities in preparation for leadership.

* Participate in collaborative mentorship with senior executive leaders.

* Serve in an interim leadership role as opportunities arise.

* Demonstrate inclusive leadership and the Culture of Yes behaviors while leading and working with others to accomplish the MU Health Care mission.

* May complete unit/department specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Master's degree in healthcare administration, public health, public administration, business administration, or an equivalent degree, within three (3) months as a condition of continued employment in this job classification.

o Applicants with an MBA or MPA must have either a minimum of nine health care-specific credit hours or at least six months of health care work experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

* Administrative internship experience.

* Relevant work experience.

* Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
