The Role:

For over fiftyyears, Poco Graphite, an Entegris company, has been recognized for producing the world's best graphite and silicon carbide materials for the Semiconductor and general industrial products, biomedical, glass industry products and electrical discharge machining (EDM) markets.

Entegris is currently seeking aLead Project Engineerto joinourNew Product Development team. This position willbebasedinourDecatur, TX facility.In this role, you will...[develop new processes, products, and innovations which will enable growth for our customers as well as for our company. You will work with our customers via ideation, design, creation, development, and engineering and walk through each step with our customers. You will touch each step of this process and manage the manufacture of prototypes for testing and validation.

What You'll Do:

  • Transform inputs fromour customers into models and prototypes and manage the manufacture of these prototypes. You will manage the schedule from Concept and Feasibility through Pilot and lead a cross functional team that manages each step of this process.

  • Identifies IP opportunities within the scope of NPD and will work with the IP committee to bring new IP to fruition and to evaluate current technologies within the portfolio.

  • Interacts with all levels of corporate personnel; develop and maintains broad global internal and external networks. Initiates engagement with external customers to discuss data collection/sharing opportunities.

  • Creates project plans and tracks progress for larger projects (e.g. break through or large platform projects). Creates budget and tracks spending for new projects and assignments. Anticipates and addresses issues proactively.

  • Works across all department lines and takes initiative to solve issues regarding technology, schedule, cost, etc.

  • Communicates progress and status via documents, notes, and presentations.

What We Seek:

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, chemical engineering, or other similar degree. Minimum 3 years experience. MS in similar degree will be acceptable along with experience

  • Applications knowledge/experience inhigh-techindustrysuch as semiconductor, aerospace, etc

  • Proven team player skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships

  • Strong communication organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Project

  • Experience with DOE methodologies/toolsdesirable

  • Proficient with Stage/Gated processes for managing New Product Introductionsdesirable

  • Experience with Solidworks desirable

  • Materials understandingdesirable

  • FEA modeling experiencedesirable

  • Compensation: $119,500- $149,000 per year with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
