PennAero is hiring an MRP/Inventory Analyst at our Weldmac Manufacturing location in El Cajon, CA. Weldmac Manufacturing delivers complex formed and welded metal assemblies for aerospace, defense, space launch, and power-generation applications. Principal
Responsibilities

Responsible for analyzing
inventory data, forecasting demand, optimizing stock levels, conducting audits,
and coordinating with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to maintain
efficient inventory operations.
Inventory Analysts ensure
inventory levels meet business needs while minimizing costs. They use data
analysis, forecasting, and inventory management systems to support operational
efficiency.

Duties:
Analyze inventory statistics to determine product performance
Monitor and optimize stock levels to prevent overstock and
stockouts
Forecast future inventory needs using sales trends and historical
data
Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies
Place inventory orders, track shipments, and allocate stock to
departments
Prepare and present inventory reports to management
Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to
coordinate replenishment
Implement inventory control protocols and improve inventory
processes
Identify and resolve ERP data quality issues affecting inventory
and cost accuracy
Responsible for min/max, safety stock and reorder parameters
Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills
and Abilities:

Strong analytical, mathematical, and problemsolving skills
Strong understanding of ERP and general
understanding of MRP
Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and inventory management
or ERP systems
Excellent communication, organization, and attention to detail
Intermediate Excel skills. Advanced
skills a plus
Strong organizational skills, ability
to multitask and meet deadlines
Experience in inventory management
Experience in cycle counting, including establishing ABC analysis
and blind counts
Experience in physical inventory counts
General understanding of
financial impact of inventory adjustments
Ability to adapt promptly to
any change in working condition and to get problems resolved
Ability to perform excellently
even when under work pressure, especially in times when shipment or
inventory deliveries are forgotten or delayed
Possess effective verbal and
written communication skills
Ability to relate across
departments connected to the warehouse, and with other members of staff
within working environment
Ability to handle several
tasks simultaneously and get them resolved without issues
Required to sit for long periods of time.
Occasionally lift and/or move up to 15 pounds
Ability to multi-task priorities and workload
Ability
to work as a team

This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the El Cajon, CA location.


Qualifications

Minimum Education/
Experience:


Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field preferred
2-5 years experience in manufacturing or warehouse environment required
Preferred skills: Experience in SQL, Python, and Power BI

This role involves access to technical data and/or hardware subject to U.S. export control laws and regulations, including the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Compensation

In compliance with all states and cities requiring transparency of pay, the expected pay range for this position is $28.00 - $34.00.

Compensation can vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, competencies, and geographic location. Some roles may qualify for extra incentives like equity, commissions, or other variable performance-related bonuses. Further details will be provided by our recruiting team during the interview process.
