Monorail Utility

Position Summary:

Performs all operations in the finishing process adequately to ensure completion of work is to Ethan Allen quantity and quality standards. May be used to fill in where help is required to keep efficiency within the department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Sort legs that have been pulled for production by color using a pull list.
2. Use a pneumatic staple gun to shoot a staple into the top of the leg in order to hang them on monorail.
3. Use distressing tools to place distress marks on the legs required.
4. Load the legs onto the monorail tree system.
5. Timely apply the finish to the legs by triggering a pneumatic spray gun and using a sweeping motion across the legs.
6. Rotate the hanger to be able to apply spray to all parts of the legs.
7. Use a finishing rag to wipe excess spray from the legs. Must rotate hanger as wipe.
8. Use sanding pads to rub the legs for a smooth finish.
9. May perform other duties/ special or non-routine assignments as instructed.
