We are looking for a resourceful, passionate, dedicated marketing professional with strong content writing skills and initiative. As a member of our team, you have an opportunity to collaborate with talented technical, marketing, and client development professionals to support pursuit strategy, develop proposals, and enhance Terracon's presence in the regional marketplace.

The ideal candidate will be familiar with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, as well as Microsoft Office. This role requires organization, self-motivation, and superior editorial skills. Ideally, you have marketing experience in the engineering, arhitecture, or construction fields and have experience with responding to proposal requests and/or SOQs. Areas of emphasis are proposal management, market research, communications, and/or client and business development.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for supporting the identification and completion of prequalification forms, researching project opportunities, creating statements of qualifications, proposals, and interview presentation preparation. You will guide the proposal process and strategize, organize, write, and produce our submittals.

The position will help develop and maintain a library of proposal resources including resumes, project descriptions, visuals, and boilerplate narrative information. This role includes creating local and regional marketing collateral, developing and posting supporting social media content, as well as coordinating and planning trade shows and conferences. Additionally, you support Client Relationship Management (CRM) system data entry.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support and help lead proposal development from kickoff through submission and interview stages.

  • Coordinate proposal meetings and collaborate with pursuit teams to develop strategy, messaging, and deliverables.

  • Partner with project managers and client development teams to support capture planning and pursuit strategy.

  • Ensure proposals are compliant, accurate, and aligned with Terracon brand standards.

  • Write, edit, and refine content for proposals, presentations, and marketing collateral.

  • Translate technical information into clear, client-focused messaging.

  • Maintain content library, including resumes, project descriptions, and boilerplate content.

  • Support regional communications, including digital and social media content.

  • Monitor lead sources (e.g., IMS, CIPs, Dodge) and other media sources and research project opportunities and market intel.

  • Maintain accurate and timely data in CRM systems

  • Generate reports to support marketing and business development efforts.

  • Plan and coordinate events, trade shows, and conferences

  • Support continuous improvement through pursuit debriefs and process enhancements.

  • Maintain quality standards across all deliverables.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related degree and 4+ years of marketing and communications experience
  • Experience supporting proposals and pursuit process
  • Excellent writing, editing and communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign)
  • A valid driver's license with acceptable violation history may be required

Preferred:

  • Experience in the A/E/C industry
  • Experience with CRM and business intelligence tools
