Summary

The Finance Director oversees all financial operations of the company and ensures compliance with financial regulations and laws. They are responsible for financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, as well as managing the accounting and reporting functions.

Duties and Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures
  • Oversee the company's financial planning and budgeting processes
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management
  • Manage the accounting and reporting functions, including financial statements, general ledger, and accounts payable/receivable
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and other financial institutions
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting to senior management and the board of directors



Educational background / Work experience



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or related roles, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.



Skills & Competencies



  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools, such as Excel, QuickBooks, and SAP



Preferred Qualifications



  • CPA or CFA certification is preferred



Language skills



  • Fluency in English is required



Computer Literacy



  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial software and tools.


Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee uses computer and telephone equipment. Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision and distance vision.



  • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, reach, and climb. Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds. Must be able to stand for several hours per day to perform required job duties as required by the nature of the business that is supported.
  • Must be able to travel by plane and/or automobile.

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee rarely is exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.

For this position, the expected base pay range is $150,000.00 - $205,000.00 Annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location, in accordance with applicable laws and company policy.
