University Athletics - Men's Basketball

Job Summary

The Temporary employee will support Men's Basketball as a Video Coordinator and Analyst on the Statesboro Campus. The Video Coordinator for the Mens Basketball program is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the programs video operations. This position supports coaches and student- athletes through the capture, editing, analysis, organization, and distribution of practice and game film. The coordinator also manages video technology, assists with recruiting through film evaluation, ensures compliance with conference and NCAA video exchange requirements, and provides administrative support for special projects as assigned by the Head Coach.

Temporary employees are employed according to departmental need and the length of time will vary by workload and may not exceed 1300 hours worked in a 12-consecutive month period.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate all video-related aspects of the men's basketball program  
  • Utilize Synergy Sports and Sports code video software to capture, manage, analyze, and distribute game and practice footage  
  • Film, edit, organize, and archive all team practices, games, and special events  
  • Break down game and practice film to identify team and individual performance trends  
  • Prepare and present video clips for team meetings, coaching staff reviews, and player development sessions  
  • Maintain video equipment and ensure all technology systems operate efficiently  
  • Coordinate video exchange and film-sharing requirements in accordance with conference and NCAA regulations  
  • Manage the team video database and digital archives  
  • Assist with recruiting operations by evaluating prospective student-athletes through film analysis  
  • Support special projects as assigned by the Head Coach

Proposed Salary

$25,000

This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
