Medical Secretaries!

Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time Medical Secretary position.
Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.

Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

This is a 24 hour/week, NIGHT shift position

TheMedical Secretaryin theMaineHealth Mid Coast Hospital Emergency Department | MaineHealthis responsible for providing administrative and office support for the providers in a multi-physician, practice.

Summary:
This position will function as a team member of Mid Coast Hospital and will facilitate the goals of this facility which are:

  • To deliver quality patient care that includes maintaining strict patient confidentiality.
  • To present a positive and respectful attitude to patients, co-workers and the community for Mid Coast Health Services and its subsidiaries.
  • To operate efficiently and ensure prudent use of resources.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Associate's Degree or previous medical experience preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: N/A
  3. Experience: N/A
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Strong accuracy and efficiency skills
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Ability to multitask and work independently
  6. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Knowledge of medical terminology preferred

The pay range for this position is $20.27to $24.36 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
