We have an exciting opening for Receiving Clerk.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Keep safety as a primary focus by working safely, following safety policies and work instructions, asking for help, promptly reporting safety concerns, and utilizing the Stop & Seek program, as required.
  • Perform receiving duties including receiving materials into mainframe system and processing paperwork.
  • Review packing slips to verify correct part numbers and purchase orders.
  • Verify quantity received using either hand counts or weigh scales.
  • Efficiently and safely operate a lift truck and commercial vehicles.
  • Make needed pickups and deliveries via commercial truck.
  • Inform supervisor of maintenance needs on all vehicles and equipment used by employee.
  • Efficiently and safely load/unload semi-trailer of chips, solids, finished goods, ingot, etc.
  • Deliver all inventory-received items to proper locations as needed.
  • Efficiently and accurately transfer material for various areas and perform inventory transactions.
  • Follow all OSHA compliance regulations.
  • Keep work area neat, clean and organized using the 5S+Safety approach.

  • Positively and actively contribute to High Performance Teams (HPTs) by participating in team improvement boards (TIB) reviews, problem solving and task completion.

  • Be a respectful team player and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all team members and supervision.

  • Promote and practice 5S + Safety approach by keeping work area neat, clean, and organized, and following safety and housekeeping rules.

  • Positively support change initiatives by actively contributing to and participating in lean principles and Kaizen events.

  • Ability to work with little supervison.

  • Support both Richland and Otsego facilities as needed.

  • Perform other duties as responsibilities necessitate.

We are looking for talent with the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Driver Qualifications for Commenerical license in line with State, DOT and Parker Requirement.
  • Obtain and maintain a forklift and crane operator license .
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Basic understanding of computers and Microsoft Office platforms.

  • Ability to adapt and prioritize/organize to changing roles and changing priorities.

You must be able to:

  • Frequently will lift up to 40 pounds, stand, walk, pull, push, bend, twist, kneel, grasp and handle.
  • Work in a moderately loud environment with exposure to or use of some moving equipment.
  • Perform some work outside in all weather conditions.
