Description

Barnes Aerospace is seeking a Director, Aftermarket Planning & SIOP to lead the transformation of our global aftermarket planning capability. This strategic leadership role will establish standardized planning processes, strengthen cross-functional decision making, and drive demand planning, inventory optimization, rough-cut capacity planning, and executive SIOP across multiple global sites. Partnering closely with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and Customer Service, this leader will improve forecast accuracy, customer service, working capital, capacity utilization, and operational performance while supporting the continued growth of our global aftermarket business.

Core Responsibilities:



  • Lead the global Aftermarket SIOP process across all Barnes Aerospace sites.
  • Develop and deploy standard aftermarket demand planning processes, assumptions, and forecasting methodologies.
  • Drive inventory optimization and working capital improvements.
  • Lead rough-cut capacity planning (RCCP) and long-range supply planning for aftermarket operations.
  • Partner with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and Customer Service to develop integrated demand and supply scenarios.
  • Establish planning KPIs, governance, and maturity assessments across sites.
  • Support implementation of advanced planning capabilities, including scenario planning and future APS/Kinaxis deployment.
  • Identify enterprise risks and recommend actions to improve customer service, inventory, and capacity utilization.
  • Coach site planning teams and drive adoption of planning best practices.


Qualifications:



  • 10+ years of experience in SIOP, supply chain planning, demand planning, or operations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in aftermarket planning, forecasting, inventory management, and capacity planning.
  • Strong cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills.
  • Experience leading planning transformation across multiple sites.
  • Knowledge of ERP and Advanced Planning Systems (Kinaxis, SAP IBP, o9, Oracle, etc.) preferred.
  • Ability to travel globally (approximately 20-30%).
