Afterschool Educator SALT LAKE COUNTY Requisition ID: 2026-10547 # of Openings: 1 Location: US-UT Category: Teaching (non-Faculty) Position Type: Non-benefited (hourly) Part-Time Job Classification: Non-Benefited College: Extension Department: Extension Youth Programs Advertised Salary: $16.00/hr Overview The Salt Lake County Office of Utah State University Extension seeks qualified individuals who would be responsible for providing enriching afterschool clubs for students in Kearns and Magna, Utah. We need educators who have skill, or are willing to learn skills, in a variety of subject areas such as, but not limited to: Sewing, STEM, Cake Decorating, Music, Art, etc. Clubs typically run 1.5 hours a day for 9-10 week quarters. Each club requires 2.5 hours/day/week and Educators can teach multiple clubs a week. Number of days worked each week is flexible. Clubs take place between 3:30 and 6:30 pm. Some evening work is required for family nights. Preparation hours beyond the 3:30-6:30pm classes can be completed at flexible times a day. Responsibilities
