As a Microsoft Purview Data Protection Engineer, you know how to design, implement, and automate enterprise dataprotection capabilities that safely govern sensitive information across Microsoft 365 IL5 and IL6 Flank Speed environments. What if you could use your advanced Purview, Entra ID, and DLP engineering skills to improve secure datahandling and information protection? As a Microsoft Purview Data Protection Engineer on our team, you'll design, implement, and optimize enterprise informationprotection, DLP, insider risk, and lifecyclegovernance controls across Microsoft 365. You'll partner with Navy mission stakeholders, cybersecurity teams, records managers, and cloud engineering teams to translate policy into technical enforcement mechanisms. You'll recommend tools, automations, and governance approaches based on your deep experience with Microsoft Purview, Entra ID, and IL5 or IL6 GovCloud requirements. Your expertise will be vital as you build custom Sensitive Information Types (SITs), engineer retention and recordsmanagement policies, create insiderrisk detection controls, design labeldriven encryption, and implement DLP safeguards across endpoints and collaboration platforms. You'll strengthen your skills in automation, Purview compliance engineering, advanced audit or eDiscovery, and Microsoft Entra Conditional Access and identity governance, while mentoring tomorrow's cloudsecurity experts. Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
