Principal Job Duties:


  • Oversee the Intercom clerks and booth attendant personnel, ensuring staff adheres to the rules of conduct, policies, and procedures.
  • Scheduling, customer service, management, help manage self-park and/or valet operations.
  • Mentors, guides and trains staff in day-to-today activities.
  • Assist in establishing performance standards, recommending, and implementing changes to procedures when necessary.
  • Promote good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer service satisfaction with friendly demeanor, can-do-attitude, and willingness to always help while remaining professional.
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
  • Responsible for running any reports related to daily incidents, data or other reports requested by management.
  • Assists with periodic training as needed.
  • Basic computer skills in the parking revenue control system (add/delete accounts, key in required information from monthly applications).
  • Other related duties as assigned.


Education:


  • High school diploma or GED required.


Experience:


  • Minimum of 3 yrs experience in a supervisor/management role.
  • Strong customer service experience is required.
  • Parking industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Able to work Overtime, days, nights & weekends as assigned or requested.


Skills:


  • Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
  • Must be open to feedback, differing opinions, and other points of view.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
  • Demonstrate the ability to seek improvement.
  • Excellent teambuilding and interpersonal skills.
  • Must have a friendly and can-do attitude.


Physical Demands:

Ability to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds.

Ability to stand, walk and run for extended periods of time.

Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.

Willingness to work in the elements - heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
