Experience required: Electrical & Controls Responsibilities
Install, program, inspect, troubleshoot, adjust, and maintain electrical devices, instrumentation, controls hardware, and related equipment. Maintain documentation of electrical controls and programs for all production equipment. Ensure equipment and control systems comply with company Electrical and Controls standards. Understand and maintain compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC), NFPA 79E, UL501, and all applicable laws, codes, and regulations. Administer electrical controls training for maintenance and production engineering personnel. Train and mentor plant technicians on electrical and controls systems.
Network & Automation Responsibilities
Perform troubleshooting and diagnostics for Layer 1 and Layer 2 networks. Troubleshoot Class C Ethernet networks, VLAN subnets, gateway addressing, and Ethernet I/O networks including EtherNet/IP, Profinet, Melsec, and CC-Link. Maintain and configure managed network switches. Maintain knowledge of safety control circuit classifications and safety performance levels (PL). Validate safety systems, including safety relays, safety controllers, force-guided contacts, and contactors.
Maintenance & Reliability Responsibilities
Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation. Develop, perform, and improve preventive maintenance (PM) programs to reduce downtime and recurring issues. Develop and execute plans to minimize equipment and facility downtime. Act as escalation support for equipment issues and provide remote support as needed. Perform emergency repairs to minimize production disruptions. Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for equipment failures. Collaborate with Maintenance Leadership to analyze equipment performance, identify trends, and implement TPM strategies. Use CMMS to manage preventive maintenance schedules, work orders, and inventory.
Operational Support
Support packaging operations and prototype development. Perform facility maintenance activities, including HVAC, lighting, water, and electrical systems. Operate material handling equipment, including scissor lifts and articulating boom lifts, as required. Maintain clean, organized work areas and support 5S initiatives. Provide technical support, training, and guidance to maintenance and production personnel. Work with OEMs and system integrators to implement equipment improvements.
Safety & Compliance
Follow all Solenis safety policies, procedures, and requirements. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all required production areas. Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory programs, including LOTO, PIT, Arc Flash, and Confined Space requirements. Maintain positive working relationships across departments and communicate maintenance concerns to Plant Management. Promote a culture of safety, continuous improvement, operational excellence, and customer-focused maintenance.
Qualifications:
Minimum 7-10+ years of industrial maintenance experience required. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required. Ability to work overtime as needed. Strong knowledge of three-phase 480 VAC systems and electrical troubleshooting. Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals. Ability to perform general math accurately and consistently. Ability to stand for extended periods, demonstrate excellent hand-eye coordination, possess strong mechanical aptitude, and lift up to 50 pounds. Thorough understanding of Ohm's Law and its application. Ability to identify electrical components and determine proper wire sizing for amperage and voltage requirements. Knowledge of fuses, breakers, SSRs, timers, heat controllers, and related electrical devices. Ability to install conduits, cables, and wiring systems, including wire pulling and proper material selection. Experience with machine controls, automation systems, VFDs, servo systems, and multi-skilled machine automation involving electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems. Proficiency in computer hardware and software troubleshooting. Ability to read, write, modify, design, and maintain PLC and HMI programs. Experience with equipment improvement, integration, design, and implementation.

The expected compensation range for this position is between $63,830.00 and $93,610.00 plus discretionary bonuses. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
