About Us
SimplePractice is a leading platform helping independent mental healthcare practitioners build, manage, and grow their private practices. We serve a large and expanding community of clinicians and practice owners with software that supports the essential workflows of running a modern practice, from client engagement and scheduling to billing, documentation, telehealth, payments, and growth. As SimplePractice continues to scale, we are advancing a product-led growth strategy designed to deepen customer adoption, increase engagement, expand monetization opportunities, and deliver even greater value to practitioners and their clients. We are looking for a Vice President of Product Marketing & Pricing Strategy to help shape and lead this next phase of growth. This is a highly strategic, cross-functional leadership role reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer. The VP will partner closely with the Chief Product Officer, Product leadership, Customer Success, Growth, Brand, Sales, Finance, Data, and Executive Leadership to define how SimplePractice brings products, packaging, pricing, and market strategies to life.
The Role
The Vice President of Product Marketing & Pricing Strategy will own the strategy and execution for product marketing, market research, pricing, packaging, and monetization across the full SimplePractice product portfolio. This leader will play a central role in translating customer needs, market dynamics, competitive insights, product strategy, and business goals into compelling go-to-market strategies that drive adoption, engagement, retention, expansion, and revenue growth. The ideal candidate is an experienced product marketing executive who has operated in a high-growth SMB-focused business, has deep pricing and monetization expertise, and knows how to work as a true strategic partner to Product. They will bring the rigor of a data-driven operator, the creativity of a strong market strategist, and the executive presence required to influence senior leaders across a scaled, high-performing business. This role is especially important as SimplePractice continues to evolve its product-led growth motion, introduces new AI-enabled capabilities, and advances its pricing and packaging strategy to support long-term growth.

- Develop go-to-market strategies that make AI practical, understandable, and valuable for private practice owners and clinicians, while addressing the trust, privacy, and sensitivity required in healthcare-adjacent settings.
Market Research, Customer Insight & Competitive Strategy
- Lead the market research function and ensure SimplePractice has a rigorous understanding of customers, prospects, competitors, category trends, buying behavior, and emerging opportunities.
- Develop research programs that inform segmentation, positioning, product strategy, pricing, messaging, brand strategy, and growth initiatives.
- Build a strong voice-of-customer discipline that captures the needs, motivations, anxieties, and workflows of independent mental health practitioners and work together with other sources of customer input to build a coherent narrative of customer needs.
- Synthesize research and data into actionable insights for Product, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Executive Leadership.
Team & Executive Leadership
- Lead, coach, and scale a high-performing team across product marketing, pricing strategy, and market research.
- Build a team culture defined by strategic rigor, strong execution, customer obsession, analytical depth, creativity, accountability, and cross-functional partnership.

- Prior experience managing managers and building high-performing teams.

- Exceptional executive communication and influencing skills.
- Strong customer empathy, especially for SMB owners, practitioners, clinicians, or professionals managing complex day-to-day workflows.
- Ability to translate complex products and technical capabilities into clear, differentiated, customer-centered value propositions.
- High business acumen, including understanding of revenue growth, EBITDA, margin, LTV, CAC, churn, retention, expansion, and monetization dynamics.
- Strong cross-functional leadership across Product, Marketing, Growth, Customer Success, Finance, Analytics, Sales, Operations, and Executive Leadership.
