Eastman is a global specialty materials company with ~$9.0 billion in annual revenue, operations across 60+ countries, and a strategic focus on innovation, sustainability, and the circular economy. The Investor Relations Leader will serve as a critical member of the IR function, supporting Eastman's engagement with the global investment community, including institutional investors and equity research analysts. This role is designed for an ambitious finance professional who is eager to grow into a leadership position within the IR function over time. The ideal candidate brings strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and a genuine curiosity about how capital markets perceive and value Eastman's strategy and performance. Financial Communications & Reporting * Support the preparation of quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, management scripts, and Q&A materials. Investor & Analyst Engagement * Build and maintain productive relationships with institutional investors and sell-side equity analysts. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis * Monitor and synthesize sell-side research, analyst models, and shareholder feedback; distill key themes for senior leadership. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Work closely with Finance, Treasury, Corporate Strategy, Business, Legal, and Communications teams to gather insights and ensure message alignment. Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field Experience: 5+ years in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, corporate finance, or a related Industry: Experience in or exposure to chemicals, industrials, materials, or adjacent sectors preferred Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Bloomberg (or equivalent), Excel and PowerPoint; experience in financial Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize and simplify complex topics Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of SEC disclosure requirements and Regulation FD KEY COMPETENCIES & CAPABILITIES These reflect the attributes needed not only to succeed in this role today, but to develop into a future leader of the IR function: * Strategic Thinking - Connects day-to-day IR activities to Eastman's long-term strategy and capital markets positioning. REPORTING STRUCTURE This position reports to the Vice President, Investor Relations and Corporate Affairs and operates within Eastman's Investor Relations and Finance organizations. It is intended as a developmental role with a clear pathway toward assuming greater responsibility and potential leadership of the IR function. LOCATION The base salary range for this position is $170,000 to $185,000. At Eastman, we are committed to transparency and integrity in our compensation practices.
