WHY YOU'LL LOVE 7HVLocated on the 7th floor of the Heart & Vascular Hospital, the 7HV Cardiac Medicine Intermediate Care Unit provides specialized care for adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiac conditions and multiple co-morbidities who require a higher level of monitoring and nursing expertise. This is the perfect unit for nurses who enjoy critical thinking, cardiac medicine, and working in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Our patients include those with: Dysrhythmias Myocardial Infarction Pre- and Post-Cardiac & Vascular Procedures Complex Medical Patients with Significant Cardiac Histories Each patient room is equipped with advanced GE bedside cardiac monitoring and bedside workstations for efficient electronic documentation and real-time patient monitoring.
